The High Arctic (2015)
The High Arctic is a collection of color prints taken in June of 2014 in the archipelago of Svalbard. The vast fields of broken ice sheets illustrates the effects of global warming in the most literal and lamentable way. We can definitively attribute this massive environmental problem to mankind's insatiable appetite for fossil fuels. These pictures serve as an immediate record of the reality of near 90 degrees north, where the ice cap is melting and forever changing the climate of the Earth. This should be a time where we can stop this problem by altering our behavior and stem the tide of destruction.
