"Crown Point
On 4 April 1998, the body of Jesus Evaro-Vargas was found wrapped in black plastic, and tossed over the edge of the road approximately 2/10 of a mile West of Crown Point. It was speculated that drugs were involved. A large, expensive knife was found at the scene. The cause of death is unknown; the manner of death was listed as a homicide.
On 10 June 1985, Anne H. Pope's body was found approximately 2/10 of a mile West of Crown Point positioned off the road down an embankment, partially clad. She had been missing from Downtown Catholic Chapel since May 29, 1985. They could not determine the cause of death; the manner of death was listed as a homicide. There are no suspects."
