"Corbett Boat Landing
On 15 July 1989, the body of Charles Vernon Moore was found without its head and anchored down to the bottom of the Columbia River with rope and heavy steel bars at the Corbett Boat Landing. It took 4 months to identify the body after it was discovered by an unsuspecting boater who hit the stump of the neck."
